Drake Newkirk has been with integrated Philadelphia brand marketing agency LevLane for 15 of its 30 years. As SVP/Creative Director, Digital he serves as head of LevLaneâ€™ s interactive department, supervising and/or producing projects from concept through production and delivery.
He has assisted many LevLane clients to establish or significantly improve their online presence and web functionality, including MDVIP, EnergyWorks, KFC, Taco Bell, Beneficial Bank, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Kennedy Health Care System, Sunoco, Center City District, Philadelphia Streets Department and many more.
Prior to LevLane, Newkirk headed Drakewerk as designer, art director, online brand and social media strategist for small to medium-sized businesses. He previously was AVP, Creative Resources for CoreStates Bank (acquired by Wachovia) where he managed and produced all multimedia projects.
He has also been a mentor to teams of young advertising agency professionals who compete in the Philadelphia edition of the annual 4As (American Association of Advertising Agencies) professional development series and served as guest lecturer / reviewer for digital programming for Temple U. advertising majorsâ€™ portfolio class. Newkirk also taught a Temple University seminar in integration of web and technology for tourism.
Drake studied graphic design at Temple University and the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
