Jon Gosier is a 33 year-old inventor, data scientist and investor. He is a serial tech entrepreneur working at the intersection of big data and user centric design. He is the founder and CEO of PredPop, a company changing the way music is tracked and monetized in the era of streaming.

As a Technologist and Data Scientist Jon has been responsible for developing predictive analytics software platforms for years. In 2010 Comcast invested in a company he founded, MetaLayer, a big data startup that made it easy for organizations to manage unwieldy data sets.

In 2015 Jon was listed as one of "The New Faces of Black Leadership" by TIME Magazine. He has also received similar honors from Black Enterprise Magazine, Business Insider, IDEO and The Economist. His 2014 TED Talk on “Trickle-Down Techonomics” explored the unexpected consequences of technical innovation and the responsibility of engineers to adopt more thoughtful practices.

Jon is also a General Partner at local Philly investment funds Cross Valley Capital and Third Cohort Capital.
